The primary objective of the new site design was to establish a versatile, comprehensive module system
that reflects the brand’s values and incorporates the new design principles of Metro. The new visual design
system aims to be intuitive, user-friendly, informative, clean, and appealing to all user personas,
including gamers and family-oriented individuals.
To achieve this, a visual audit was conducted on the previous site to evaluate its usability, functionality,
and adherence to the brand’s visual language.
In conjunction with the new modular system, an online guideline was developed as a reference tool.
This guideline serves to facilitate the understanding, implementation, and maintenance of the look and feel
of the new Xbox.com. It provides in-depth insights into the visual language and interactive design system,
enhancing the user experience and effectively conveying Xbox’s brand message.
